The decisions therapists make early in practice ownership can shape their business for years to come. This program focuses on hands-on decision-making around business models, tax planning, compliance responsibilities, administrative structure, and long-term practice sustainability. Participants will explore how foundational business decisions impact daily operations, professional risk, financial planning, and the future direction of a solo or growing practice.
Learning Objectives
After this program, participants will be able to:
Compare at least two business model options for structuring a counseling practice.
Identify key compliance, tax, and administrative considerations that impact practice ownership.
Develop one decision-making priority related to the long-term structure of their practice.
CE Information
This program offers 1.5 NBCC hours.
